Now I was born in Montréal, but my family moved to the U.S. when I was 18-months old, which means that I don't speak French (my first word was "oui," but for a completely different reason). So when I found out about the Pantone Cafe, I was super excited for all of the obvious reasons, but my lack of French knowledge was a bit of a problem. Fortunately, I know that Google Translate is a thing, so I can tell you that the Pantone Cafe is a pop-up restaurant that will be at the esplanade of the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco from July 14th thru September 9th. This is the second year it's been in existence, and it looks like quite the designer destination.
Basically, it goes down like this: the cafe serves Pantone-themed food on Pantone-themed plates. Heck, the cafe itself is in a red shipping container that has its Pantone color right on the outside. Everything seems to have a fairly healthy vibe (lots of green drinks), and although I won't be anywhere near Monaco this summer, I sure do wish I could be. I mean, I get hungry, and who wouldn't want a little color in their tummy?
