The struggle is real. Being an introvert in a noisy world is a daily battle. Normal activities like taking the bus, answering the phone, and working with a team represent a different type of burden when you are diagnosed as a INFJ personality type. INFJ stands for introversion, intuition, feeling, and judging in a psychometric test about personality known as the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Yes, this means that there are many, many more letters to describe your personality outside of A and B. In the Myers-Briggs test, which you can take here, there are 16 possible psychological types abbreviated in four letters each.
INFJoe decided to take matters in his own hands and combine his talent for comic art with a desire to share what it's like to be an introvert. In his own words, he is "an INFJ joe, amid extroverts, sensors, thinkers, and perceivers, and still coming to terms with it on a daily basis." INFJoe is actually his alias for this comic series; his real name is Aaron Caycedo-Kimura.
Aaron is a visual artist and writer. He was born in Santa Rosa, CA, and now lives on the East Coast, where he earned a Master of Music at The Juilliard School in New York City. He is the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions for his paintings, and his poetry has been published in print and online. He works as a graphic designer and lives with his wife Luisa, a poet, in Connecticut.
