Even if you don't own a Mac/iPhone/iPad/etc., you probably know what the Apple logo looks like, right? Well just in case, here's a refresher:
Got it? OK cool. A few years back, The Brain Fever wrote this post about lost Apple logos, and recently it's been picking up steam online. Why? Well because it looks like Apple put out an ad in the 1970s with a logo on the computer that we had never seen before. Here's the first part:
But that's not the Apple logo we all know from the '70s and '80s, right? That would be the rainbow Apple, just like this:
So what happened? Well, the entire post is worth a read, but we'll give you the TL;DR version. It looks like that was a protoype version of the above logo, and it may have looked like this:
Imagine how that ad campaign would've worked, right?
